有些事情我們無法控制，只好控制自己；

有些人我們無法改變，只好改變自己。

寂天菩薩在入菩薩行論中說過：「何需足

量革，盡覆此大地？片革墊靴底，即同覆

大地。」

若要用皮革將所有大地鋪蓋，

如何能找到這樣多的皮革呢？

其實只要一小片皮革包住腳，

等於蓋住了所有不平的地面

Sometimes the situation of our life is out of

control, I should control myself, some people

we can not change, then we should change 

ourselves.

Shantideva mentioned in "The way of the 

Bodhisattva" -- If we want to cover the ground

with leather, how can we find such a huge 

leather? Actually we just need to find a little 

piece of leather to cover our feet, and the 

rugged surface will be covered.
