前清英國打狗領事館
別誤會了這裡沒有罵人的意思！因為高雄港的舊地名就是【打狗港】，然而英國人在此所留下的領事館又保存的相當完美！所以遊客絡繹不絕，成為最有古風的一個休閒去處！
這裡的風景也相當好，居高臨下所有進出的船舶都在你腳下一一通過，喝杯下午茶看看高雄西子灣的美景，你就知道我所說的重點了。

西子灣
位於前清英國打狗領事館山腳下，美麗的夕陽得天獨厚的方位，使他另人流連忘返，北邊有小山擋住北風吹襲，東邊僅靠在前清英國打狗領事館山腳下，面臨高雄港出入口，南邊是唯一的進出口。
每當南風一吹，這裡總是清涼酥爽，白天遠離了塵囂，夜晚遠離了燈火，手牽著心愛的另一伴，乘坐在岸邊一靠著緊抓著她，訴說著今晚的決定.....親愛的『我們去吃冰好嗎』？
Sizih Bay

      It features a beach and park among its attractions, along with marine scenery and spectacular sunsets.

雄鎮北門
遊艇碼頭緊鄰著西子灣的一側中間夾著雄鎮北門的古城門

這個古城門是附近唯一僅存的古城遺跡，雖然短短小小的一段，但是非常顯眼，進入西子灣之前一定能看到他的存在。
這裡和下面的介紹『旗后砲台』屬於同期建造，共同扼守高雄港，但是這裡的大砲古蹟都已經毀損，只剩下砲座與城門，門上所提的”雄鎮北門”成為故事的唯一證據。
Syongjhen North Gate
      ”The North Gate Casemates” is the inscription over the entrance to Shaochuantou Fortress, built in 1875 during the reign of the Ching Dynasty Emperor Kuang Hsu. This battery, together with Chihou Fortress at the southern end of the harbor, protected Kaohsiung from attack in earlier times.

哨船頭 & 渡船頭
遊艇碼頭瞭望著對面60公尺就是渡船頭，雖然說是對面，但是非常的近，乘坐車子也不過3分鐘就到了，不妨你用15分鐘走路到對面還比較有味道，散散步，牽著另一伴的手，相信我所說的...下午4pm - 6pm 最適合散步。
15分鐘之後來到渡船頭10元的來回船票是最佳的選擇，在一陣隆隆的引擎聲音之後12分鐘的航行一下子就到了對岸...旗津。
在航行途中橫越航道跨越高雄港兩端，正式最便宜又有風味的旅途，可以將高雄港將近300個大型碼頭一眼看遍100多個，包含了海軍的艦艇專用碼頭、散裝碼頭區、貨櫃專用碼頭、煤炭卸貨區、船屋整修區、大型遠洋漁船專用停泊碼頭，一覽無遺的近收眼底。

旗津
旗津屬於一個高雄港的天然屏障，擋住了海浪和強風，擋住了強勁的水流，讓高雄港穩定下來，成為一個天然良港，通常來到旗津的2大重點，海產，旗后天后宮，或者是來個烤魷魚也不錯。

Cijin Peninsula
      The cijin Peninsula is long(11 kilometers), narrow shoal in the sea at the western edge of Kaohsiung Harbor. This was the site of the earliest harbor here; it stll has a number of major historic sitoric sites, including the 300 year old Queen of Heaven Temple(a third-grade historic site), Cihoushan, the Cijin Lighthouse, and Cijin Beach. Here you will find the only pedicabs still being operated commercially in Taiwan. The fresh, inexpensive seafood available along Old Street here is a favorite among gourmands.

旗后砲台
清朝康熙年間派砲兵營鎮守高雄，其中安置了中國式的大砲6尊，清朝末年(同治二年)打狗港開港，其中的軍事角色更顯得重要，而高雄港的砲台一分為二，扼守高雄港進出口兩岸一個就是剛剛提到過的”雄鎮北門”, 一個就是現在所知道的旗后砲台...”威震天南”
Cihou Fort
      Six Chinese-style cannon were installed here in the early Ching dynasty to protect the harbor. The battery is divided into two parts, one on Cihou Mountain and the other on the north shore of the harbor.

旗后燈塔
清朝同治三年打狗港開港，光緒九年(1883)年，聘請英國技師建造燈塔於旗后山上，至今還是完好如初的在山上運作著，是古蹟燈塔中保存良好的其中之一。
Cihou Lighthouse
      British engineers were employed in 1883 to built this Western-style lighthouse on Chihou Mountain, where it has provided guidance to mariners navigating the water near Kaohsiung for more than a century.

烏魚子
說到烏魚子相信許多華人都不陌生，因為這是被華人稱之為”烏金”的東西，每每烏魚潮來到台灣海峽的時候，正是烏魚最肥美的季節，許多的漁民都在等著，碼頭也等著加工殺魚取卵，家中的院子也清掃完畢等待曝曬魚卵，市場小販也等著最新鮮的第一批烏魚卵，再將這個被視為跟西方於子醬齊名的菜餚端上桌。
如果你是一名住在其他地區的華人，建議你在六合夜市找找，有一攤專賣烏魚子，燒烤的風味，搭配...
Mullet roe (Egg of the Fish)
      Mullet roe is probably Cijin’s most famous delicacy. With it’s outhwatering aroma and taste, and high production cost, mullet roe has earned itself the ickname, ”black gold”. This coveted treat is a main stay at wedding banquets. 

      Fisherman here catch large mullets and cull the row from female mullets during their winter migration. Mullet roe is commonly sold in Cijin shops, and prices can vary from outrageously high to reasonable; thus, comparing prices and quality at different shops before making a final purchase is strongly recommended.

蓮池潭
雖然說蓮池潭位置是屬於高雄縣左營區，但是我卻在這裡歸納到高雄市區，原因是離高雄市區很近，而且幾乎所有的高雄市區觀光行程，都會把蓮池潭的龍虎塔列為必經之地。
我對於龍虎塔的第一印象是在三歲的時候，讓膽小的我非常害怕，一直到29歲再到此地的時候我才知道原來....小時後的記憶，是在這裡以往都不知道ㄟ。

龍虎塔旁邊可以看見一座水泥的塑像，相當的高大，右手拿劍，左手持劍訣，腳踩腸子....沒錯就是腸子。

 

Lotus Lake
      This famous scenic area on the northern outskirts of Kaohsiung City is noted for it’s profusion of temples, with the Confucius Temple at it’s northern edge and, in the south, the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and the Spring and Autumn Pavilions. The lake is most beautiful in the late afternoon, when the setting sun is reflected in the water. Nearby are the ruins of the Fongshan County walls and gates, which have been designated a first-grade historic site.

愛河
怎麼可以忘記跟親愛的另一伴一起共遊愛河呢？
以前愛河是一個又髒又臭的廢棄污水所聚集而成的河流，上游是養雞養鴨養豬的廢水，中游是工廠廢水，下游是住戶廢水，直到高雄人自己都看不下去了，才開始整治，花費十多年完工，以往是魚兒下水翻白肚，現在是月光下水情人散步，旁邊的咖啡廳一間一間的比鄰而立，看著遊船劃破寧靜的水面。

晚風親親臉龐舒服的散步在晚餐之後，這是許多情人的最愛。

Love River
      The Love River is not a river at all, being a canal with no real source of water, but it’s considered the city’s most important stream. The green and shady riverside parks on both sides of the canal are great for strolling, bicycling, or in-line skating. On each side there is a ” coffee arts plaza ” from which, after night falls, waft the tantalizing aromas of coffee and the fast and slow rhythms of music, adding a rich touch of romance to this port city. A tourist boat runs every
evening from 16pm - 23pm , giving visitors the chance to view the Love River’s
night scenery from the water.

百貨公司商場商圈
    “Talee-Isetan”(大立伊士丹) Department Store and Shopping Area Located beside Urban Spotlight, Talee-Isetan Department Store is the leading the department store in Southern Taiwan. Even with the recent rise of the “Sanduo”(三多) Department Stores and shopping area its popularity has not wavered. After the old President’s Department Store was destroyed by fire, it absorbed most of the business along “Wufu”(五福) Road. It is opens for business at 10am every morning. Talee-Isetan is part of a shopping district, which also consists of new “Jyuejiang”(前金), Urban Spotlight and The Love River. This has become Kaohsiung biggest sightseeing, shopping and leisure area.

Hanshin Department and Shopping Area
      One of the earliest developed regions in Kaohsiung Lingya became rundown due to the construction of oil storage tanks and a warehouse wharf in the district. When the Hanshin Department Store opened in 1995 on the Chenggong and Sintian Intersection, the surge of consumers brought in by the department store and hotel led to the development of nearby restaurants and fashion outlets. The ocean view suites at the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel are particularly sought after. The construction of the Splendor Kaohsiung Hotel in the Tuntex Sky Tower extended this shopping area southwards to Haibian and Singuang Roads. In the East the shopping area links up with Talee-Isetan Department Store, New Jyuejiang and Yuansu Plaza to create a ring-shaped commercial district.

關於買鞋子方面建議你到大連街上走走，因為這裡整條街都是賣鞋子，我也不清楚總共有幾家一眼望去...喔好多。
這裡大部分都是有自己的工廠，生產自己賣的鞋子，你也可以用意想不到的便宜價格買到你喜歡的，當然如果你想要批發也可以來這裡找老闆娘談談，男鞋女鞋童鞋皮鞋...
Shoe Street
      Kaohsiung residents all know that the best place to find bargains on shoes is Talien Street. Shoe manufacturers located along this street sell their foot-wear throughout Taiwan.

成衣街商圈
既然在台北有五分埔商圈，當然南部的成衣商圈批發絕對不能忽略，因為這些衣服商店大部分都有自己的工廠，競爭的可是非常激烈，競爭的手段連五分埔都比不上，甚至你想批發，只要你跟老闆娘談得來，論斤計價都可以，沒錯...就是用秤重的的方式決定衣服的價格，怎樣...你敢來跟她談嗎？笑妳沒膽子來，重點就是歡迎你來到高雄成衣商圈，地點位於高雄火車站右邊的巷子，長明街，以及位置在後站的安寧街。
Changming Street and An-Ning Fashion Zone
      Changming Street and Anning Street fa shion zones are ideal plz for visitors to buy cheap, fashionable, good quality clothes. In this fashion zone, most of the vendors or shops sell women’s fashion and provide lots of choices and bargain prices. Why don’t you come and visit these places to buy some cheap and fashionable clothes and visit latest boutiques.

雜貨市場(南北乾貨批發)
如果在台北錯過了迪化街，那只有來高雄看看更大的...三鳳中街
從高雄火車站建國路上往西的方向，也就是...右轉經過同愛街、繼光街、南台路口來到自立路口，右手邊一點鐘方向斜斜小小的巷子，沒錯這就是三鳳中街。
Sanfong Jhong Street
      Sanfeng Central street is a popular shopping area of sundry goods. To get there, proceed westward from the Kaohsiung Train Station along Jianguo Road, cross Zihli Road, and enter Sanfong Jhong Street at the diagonal intersection.

電腦器材 & 攝影器材
位於建國二路上，從民族路橋往復興路口延伸過去，不管是筆電(電子筆記本)或是pc主機、甚至主機板、顯示卡、硬碟、耗材、周邊設備...等等
但是...關於高檔的攝影器材方面就比較少了，幾乎所見的都是一般的數位相機。
