1. Royal Brackla 10yo 40%
C: yellow
21 N: light, beautiful floral, sunflower, olive oil, then some ginger, fresh cream, a little grassy
19 T: light, ginger, powder, a little spicy, some medicine syrups at the end
20 B: balanced, good for a 10yo basic bottle, good variant better for nosing, not any stress at all
2. Royal Brackla 10yo 2000/2010 45%
C: yellow
20 N: some winery fruit, vinegar, rich cream, cherry cake, concentrated
19 T: medium, round and spicy, malty, sweet, some citrus comes up, very oil
19 B: somehow, sticky and oil in palate, not very good extension, lack of variant
3. Royal Brackla 18yo 1993/2008 43% Sigv. Bourbon barrel C#6751 11/298Bts
C: yellow
20 N: sweet tangerine juice, citrus, vanilla, a little popcorn, barley sugar
20 T: light, citrus, tangerine, still powder, winery cherry, lemonade
19 B: balanced, no stress, smooth, but lack of character
4. Royal Brackla 17yo 1991/2009 46% G&M Connoisseurs choice Refill sherry cask
C: yellow
20 N: beautiful floral, olive oil, ginger, vanilla, fresh cream, lightly sherry, green apple, diffused loosely
21 T: light -> medium, medicine powder, a little winery, powder, creamy, oil
19 B: somehow, better for nosing
5. Royal Brackla 9yo 1998/2008 61% SMWS 55.18
C: light yellow
18 N: new spirit, powder, spices, obviously ALC, some green apple peels
18 T: short, medicine powder, good impact, some cream, very oil, sweet and clean
18 B: still too young to drink, less variant and seems not matured yet than general bottle? No wonder it’s SMWS
6. Royal Brackla 17yo 1991/2008 53.6% MMcD Bourbon 113/234Bts
C: yellow, light amber
21 N: some strawberry, passion fruit, melon peels and fruit acid, followed by some stewed apple, hint of sodium
21 T: medium, sodium, sulphurs, stewed apple, some smoke, wood cask, good texture
21 B: good balanced, very interested, not very Brackla than others. However, good variant and complexes
7. Royal Brackla 24yo 1979/2003 58.7% Blck Oak C#5281 299/314Bts
C: yellow gold
22 N: ripe apple peels, melon peels, then some honey, toffee, vanilla, sugar cane, followed by some banana oil, straw, camembert cheese
23 T: medium, very good impact and texture, tangerine juice, toffee, apricot, cream, ripe apples, a little bitterness of orange peels at the middle of tongue
22 B: good balanced both for N & T, good extension and texture, still active and variant, very enjoyable. A 90+ bottle if less ALC comes up.
8. Royal Brackla 33yo 1976/2010 43% McklC C#6920 B#300
C: yellow
21 N: some cherry, figs, dry fruits comes up at first, then some raw wheat, cereal, green apple peels, still powder, vanilla, tender and elegant but lack of strength of an old one
20 T: medium, green asparagus, a little soybean, straw, tangerine peels, powder and liquorices, some ALC and a little bitterness comes up at the middle of tongue
20 B: balanced, but too weak for tasting, less variant, monotone at the end
