After Brother John gave us a truck ride through the tunnel, hedropped us off in a park. We then continued our journey on Highway 90.  We came across a crowd huddling  on the bridge. Even though curiosity killed the cat, wewent ahead to see what’s going on.  Catshave nine lives, after all.

Wow, alligators! Alligators are native to China and UnitedStates. Florida is one of the southern states that American alligators can befound.  We had better stay away fromCapitan Hook’s good friends and moved on. 

Florida streets are really biker friendly. There’re a lot ofbiking routes. We stopped at Pensacola to get the breakfast (5/2) and then goton the internet outside the coffee shop. Mr. Tsai passed by and saw the ‘dove’ emblemon our bike suit so he started chatting with us. He invited us over for dinnerand staying with him overnight.  Mr. Tsaiis a dentist and priest, who is from Singapore. Since he flies back to hisfamily in Tampa on weekends, he asked us to let him know when we wereapproaching to Tampa on our way to Miami. Thank you, Brother Tsai.  See you in Tampa.

從沒想過油飯是這麼好吃!


先來介紹我們如何在外煮飯.



先煮1500西西的滾水,將花椰菜燙三分鐘,撈起來後,繼續用滾水熱調理包.



吃完花椰菜,調理包也好了.


再利用吃油飯的時間,煮紫菜蛋花湯.


到底我們是在美國南部,還是台灣南部呢?


此事說來話長,大概是天上的父顧念我們這兩位流浪異鄉的小朋友,差了天使幫助我們.
 

星期天到了教堂聚會,牧師請我們吃中飯,順道介紹我們給全教會的弟兄姊妹認識.

Brother John 告訴我們,前面有河,橋很高,隧道很窄,騎單車很危險,不如用我的卡車載你們一程,到了對面的公園,你們再繼續騎單車.





安全至上,既然如此,我們當然照辦.



回想起路易斯安娜州的第二座大橋,沒有路肩,人行道只比單車的手把還寬一些,上了又高又大的橋,強風從左邊吹來,卡車,貨車,轎車從右側高速呼嘯而過,路肩又沒有轉頭的空間,真是進退兩難,當時兩個人硬著頭皮,把單車牽過橋.今天託約翰弟兄的幫忙,順利過河.



我們繼續走在US high way 90 .




在路旁休息,看見一堆人在橋上圍觀,我們也跟著去看熱鬧.





看出來了嗎?

在佛羅里達州的河邊,就能看到這些好朋友.


基本上,除了河裡有虎克船長的好朋友之外,佛羅里達的公路,倒是對單車非常友善,市區內多有單車專用道.


言歸正傳,倒底油飯是如何出現的呢?
星期一,我們到了Pensacola,
靜宜在超市買了土司當早餐,賺了一杯免費的咖啡,
我們就在星X克外面,上免費的網路.



蔡偉明牧師看到我們車衣上的鴿子,就跟我們聊天,邀請我們到他家過夜.


 
晚餐不用煮了,就去吃Buffet吧!



因為我們都是主內的弟兄姊妹,

在美國南部吃到的台南油飯,就是蔡牧師送的啦!
