在邀請這位目前定居於達拉斯的傑出女藝術家的過程，才知道我們都曾經服務過不同時期的北美新浪，也聊了下過去的一些回憶，雖然我們的工作時間沒有交集。
但也算這段訪問的額外插曲。
以下是她作品的詳細介紹：
"...Art is notwhat you see,
but what you makeothers see".
藝術創作不仅是呈现你的認知，而是要使观者去感受到你的認知。
My work includesabstracts of varying emotional pull, from mellow and flowing to dark andintense ...
I make effort onleaving the viewer peering in deeper as if to capture the emotion and hold it.
My most recentworks also include figurative paintings that try to transport my art viewer toanother realm.
I work on making mysubjects ethereal in their beauty and femininity.
A lot of viewerswonder if my subject is a self portrait, I think I have to admit that I do puta bit of myself into each painting...literally and figuratively.
And it comesthrough in the personalities of the subjects, each holding a piece of theserenity found within my soul.
我的藝術創作，包含不同程度的、抽象的情緒抽離，从淡然的表象延伸进激烈次的浓烈。
我尽力使观者能够穿过画面深入地去感受其深層的涵义，捕捉并把握住画的情绪。
我新近的創作包括更多的人物繪畫，想要將观者帶到另外一個不同的界面。我嘗試著將主題人物的女性美帶到一个空靈的境界。
許多觀賞者都好奇我的主題人物是否是自畫像呢？我想我必須承認我的確將自我的一部分放进画中，不管是外表形态还是精神世界。这些都贯穿进主题人物的情态里，而每一幅作品都有一份從我靈魂能找到的寧靜。

之後，比較少看到妳的創作，一直到最近。

我是比较痴迷画画了，而且对自己很不满意，总在探索，希望画得好些
最近画了几幅抽象，还在研究，我一直想把我的抽象和人物融为一体

這是每位藝術工作者的心路歷程。
我自己也在尋求跨領域之旅。

About Wenli Liu，劉文栗
Biography:
Born in Beijing, China, Wenli interest for drawing started to show inher early childhood, and has become her focus ever since.
She graduated fromBeijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in the 90's, and
following herpassion for literature and arts, worked as journalist/editor many years.
In 1998, shestarted studying at the San Francisco Academy of Art University, majoring inGraphic design.
After a few yearsworking as a graphic designer, she had a chance to live and travel to manyplaces in Asia, America and Europe, experiencing and studying both eastern andwestern culture and history.
She finallydedicated herself into fine arts, becoming a full-time professional artist in2006.
Her work includesabstracts and figurative paintings.
自傳：
北京出身的她，文栗從小就對繪畫感興趣，也一直是她努力的方向。
90年代毕业于北京建筑工程大学之后，她却從事了雜誌編輯與記者的工作多年，歸於她對於文學與藝術的熱愛。
98年她进入了美国舊金山藝術大學攻讀平面設計，后做了几年幾年的平面设计师。期间游历了亞洲、歐洲及美洲很多地方，去学习和體驗東西方文化與歷史。
到了2006年，她終於成為了專職的藝術家，她的創作包括抽象及人物繪畫。
