The road not taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood

And sorry I could not travel both (但很抱歉我不能兩條都走)

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could (盡可能的眺望路的盡頭)

To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other, as just as fair

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear

Had worn them really about the same (若有過往人蹤)

Though as for that the passing there (路的狀況會相差無幾)

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way

I doubted if I should ever come back (我懷疑我是否會回到原處)

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- (黃樹林裡分叉兩條路,而我)

I took the one less traveled by (我選擇了較少人跡的一條)

And that has made all the difference
