I have been given kids haircut since they were born, very occasionally I took them to barber shop, gradually I became the free barber especially after once little Jeffrey’s ear was accidentally cut a little by the barber, I was very worry if the blade was clean or could he got infected of any disease, plus the kids really don’t like to spend time to go out -- they don’t even care about  the haircut style…

So even I am not good at it at all and yet I was doing it for 20years, sorry to say I have made no improvement

Since there is no big mirror in basement, I can only do my best to estimate the balance which I am not good at either

The day after I gave Timmy haircut last time, he came back and told me

“Know what? Mom”

“Yes?”

“Everyone single period, there was at least 1 kid came to tell me I had a bad haircut”

“Really?

“Yes, sometime even more than 1 came to tell me and they were not kidding, they think the 2 front sides are not balance”

“Oh, I am so sorry, how about let’s go out to a real barber place and trim it to fix the problem?”

“No, I don’t need to”

“Why is that?”

“Oh well, whoever will tease me had teased me today, so noone will say anything tomorrow”

“Are you sure?

“Yes, positive and I don’t feel like to go out”

 “Ok, if you change your mind anytime, we can still go”

 The following day after school -

 “How was today? Anyone made fun of you?

 “No, didn’t I tell you those who teased people had laughed yesterday already and will not bother me today?"  He said it impatiently and went to listen his music…

I guess I really appreciate God give me 2 sons and they are very easy going with clothing or appearance, if I were him to be made fun of whole day, I would cry at least few days and might reject to go to school even the haircut problem is fixed

So thank you God for this boy has confidence and comfortable with himself, he knows the appearance is relatively not an important issue compares to many other things in life!
