（中央社記者黃巧雯台北 1日電）台灣申請加入亞投行，經濟部次長卓士昭今天表示，除了能增加台灣的國際能見度、瞭解台灣可扮演重要角色外，還有助於台灣參與區域整合。
台灣昨天趕在截止日前，正式提出加入亞洲基礎設施投資銀行（AIIB）申請意向書，除南庄民宿討論了透過大陸國台辦把信函交給亞投行臨時多邊秘書處，同時也由財政部傳給亞投行。
卓士昭今天出席全球採購夥伴大會受訪時指出，若能夠加入亞投行，除了可從亞投行得到第一手商機資訊外，由於亞投行是國際組織，「對於與所有亞投行會員互動也會有很好基礎」，在良好互動基礎下，有助台灣加入區域整合。
