The One You Love：Glenn Frey 單飛後的代表作

悠悠的薩克斯風傳來，勾起每個人都曾有過的單戀回憶…..

這首由前老鷹合唱團(Eagles)主唱格林佛萊(Glenn Frey)所唱的The One You Love，歌詞訴說著苦澀的單戀心情，幾乎每個人聽到時都會浮起這樣的感覺。

老鷹合唱團於1981年解散後(後來又在1994年合體了)，單飛的格林佛萊於1982年發行個人專輯「No Fun Aloud」，收錄了 The One You Love。這首歌於Billboard百大單曲榜最高名次為15名，成人當代榜則是奪下了亞軍。

有些英文歌曲在台灣紅的程度更勝於外國，The One You Love 就是這樣一首歌。我的一些只聽台語歌的長輩，居然會哼 The One You Love 的旋律；雖然不知道在唱啥，不過覺得很好聽就是了，可見 The one you love 在台灣多麼受歡迎。

可惜的是格林佛萊因為風濕性關節炎、急性潰瘍性大腸炎、肺炎等多種併發症，2016年1月18日病逝於紐約。生涯曾獲得六座葛萊美獎與五座全美音樂獎的傳奇人物就此殞落。
