根據網上好友丹尼爾的資料，在美國緬因州波特蘭市博物館裡還有一幅畫 LaGioconda，畫上那位女士和蒙娜麗莎非常相像，唯一不同的地方是 LaGioconda 臉上沒有微笑，所以那幅畫也被稱為「不笑的蒙娜麗莎」。鑑定家認為這幅畫也是相同時期(1910年代)所畫，並且該畫家也和達文西一樣是位左撇子，極有可能也是達文西的畫作。
