A person of destiny lives for his/her destination. Whenever a thought or an action in which he/she believes that taking is better than ignoring, there are always other thoughts or actions that drag him/her away from the current one, like tug of war.
Making choices from available alternatives sets one in dilemma, especially when one has to run the risk of bracing for the consequence—gains or losses, or future commitment of choosing those alternatives. Once one makes up his/her mind and chooses a "better alternative" which he/she believes it is much more positive than negative, he/she then finds that it is still much more positive elements than negative ones within those alternatives he/she has already declined. Choices are mostly something to do with lucks. The way one may escape him-/herself from regret is finding a "scapegoat" or a bolstering excuse. I sometimes do, and I believe that people may sometimes do as well.
How will I do when I figure out those losses are coming along with gains? Hiding the regret with a smile in pain on the face and then constructing a new cognitive drill in mind. But, how will other people do? Various ways.
