按照往例，每年自己的生日總是要點播一首歌送給自己
順便回顧過去一年發生的事情，以及對於未來一年的展望

回顧過去，在感情上和工作上都有不小的變化
維持了將近九個月的戀情，在愚人節當天意外結束
這大概是我從出道以來維持最短的戀情吧
其實這段感情的結束本來已在我的意料範圍之內
只是沒想到對方會選在愚人節來結束這一切
雖然我們都認為對方是相當值得的交往對象
但是距離、觀念、生活背景的不同，終究讓我們踏上分歧路
當他提出分手時，我並沒有多說什麼
其實兩人若已經走到在一起時沒有任何話題可聊的話
也許早點分開對雙方都比較好吧
問我還會不會想他？說不會是騙人的
但是我自己很清楚就算還在一起也不會有結果的
他真的是一個很好的人，只希望他能找到更好的對象

面對這一次的感情波折，說實話我並不後悔
相反的，經過了這一次，更讓我看清楚自己追求的是什麼
當別人花時間在健身房鍛鍊健美體魄的時候
我花同樣的時間在學習新的、不同的知識領域
一個人一天當中都只有同樣多的時間
因此我選擇將時間花在知識學習上
就無須羨慕別人擁有健美的體魄，自己卻仍然臃腫
這次的戀情讓我認清，對我來說
心靈上能夠相互契合才是最重要的

工作上，辭掉令人稱羨的經理頭銜重回補教領域
本來希望能夠重拾一個較有品質的生活步調
不讓自己賣給工作，完全失去生活的意義
然而，原本平靜的工作卻再換了新上司後一切變調
一開始的時候，我對她的所作所為相當氣憤
不過在一陣子之後，我漸漸看開了
不知為何，我突然非常相信所謂的「因果循環」
反正現在她對我做的任何不平等的事情
最後都會回到她身上，或是她孩子的身上
老實說這樣想也許是有一點自我安慰的天真想法
不過自從我這樣想之後，我每天上班的心情變得很好
反正她是我的上司，這是無改變的事實
在我找到下個工作之前，與其每天自怨自艾去上班
還不如換個愉快的心情去上班

在生日的今天，突然接到好友不幸的消息
原本已經訂婚的朋友，卻發現未婚夫有外遇
沒想到她的未婚夫不僅不悔改，還惡言相向
所以我想將我要點播給自己的歌，也同時送給她
我要點播的是R&B女歌手Puff Johnson的Over and Over
這首歌是電影「大老婆俱樂部」的主題曲，歌詞相當正面
其中有一段歌詞我相當喜歡
