How should I deal with modernism?
Every time i read article about post modernism or post-post modernism, I just can't make sure what attitude I should have. Should i treat it as a statement, or just some kind of metaphors? Part of reasons is that the authors refuse to use logic way to discourse. Another problem is they even don't believe Truth. So it's confusing for me to certify their words. That's also the difference between post modernism and Buddhism. The latter still has its ontology, that make truth and false still matter in Buddhism. I think the proper way is to view post modernism theory as a social discours which provide the reasons for the surge of art market and workers, because the old theory with hierarchy can't accommodate them. in short, it's all about metaphor. If that's is true, why people still chose word to do that? Is it better to sing a song or show a picture like Zen? Maybe it's still an activity within academic field and word or essay is still a generally accepted way to communicate.
