[That's a topic about livin' in the dorm. or rentin' a house outside.]

A=Alice J=Jun

(One day, Jun ran across with Alice in the street.)

J: Hey, Alice, long time no see, how are you?

A: Fine, thanks. I'm busy with finding a place to live recently.

J: Oh, you don't live in the dormitory any more?

A: No, because it's too dirty and too small for me . So I am looking for a new place to live in. I am bothering about whether to rent a appartment or owning a house. Can you give me some advices?

J: Well, both 2 methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you rent a appartment, except for the convenience, it is good to have complete furniture, facilities, decoration; house keeping service is included and you can simply call someone to fix whatever goes wrong, the main point is that less house work for you when you are busy.

A: Oh, it sounds good.But I want to own a house more.

J:Why do you think so?

A:Because it is more free to live in: I can have my own yard, more space for various activity. For the house belongs to me,I can choose the furniture I like, decorate the way as I like, and feel satisfied; I can do whatever I like and less or without affecting others and I can raise pets also.Just kidding,I don't like keeping a pet at home.

J: When you own a house, you have to afford the payment for a long time if you have not pay it all the money.And a lot of cleaning to do ,tidy things up yourself,less safety and fixing service.

A: Jun, i do not agree with you. Because I think that there are disadvantages of renting a apartment : you cannot have pets, the place you live is limited; you cannot dectorate the apartment freely, just like picking your favourite color for the wall, etc.
you will not know what is going to happen and when will they raise a rent or ask you to move out, cause difficulties and inconvenience.

A: So many advantages and disadvantages, I cannot make a decision by now. I have to go back to the dormitory to take it into concern. Oh, it's troublesome!

J: Think it carefully. Oh , I have something to do , see you next time, bye.

A: Good bye.
