老歌亂談(758)Hippy Hippy Shake
此曲為美國搖滾歌手Chan Romero ( 這位老兄的血統有些複雜，父親為西班牙與Apache原住民，母親則為墨西哥、Cherokee原住民與愛爾蘭混血。) 於17歲時所寫，1959錄唱發行，雖然在澳洲排行榜拿下了第3名，但在其他國家地區均未能入榜。
歌曲雖未大紅，卻引起了披頭合唱團Paul McCartney的注意，自1962起，The Beatles經常在一些小俱樂部演唱此曲，1963錄製的現場版，收錄在1994的合輯《Live at the BBC》中。1963，英國樂團The Swinging Blue Jeans也發行了他們的版本，在英、美排行榜分別獲得了第2及第24名，也成為該團知名的暢銷曲之一。1988，美國樂團The Georgia Satellites為了湯姆克魯斯主演的電影《Cocktail》( 台譯：雞尾酒 ) 錄製了他們的版本，此版本在美國Hot 100排行榜得到第45名。
此首《Hippy Hippy Shake》為Chan Romero的成名曲，卻也是他歌唱生涯中最為知名的代表作。
