希普頓修女（1488年~1561年）出生在英格蘭亨利三世的時代英格蘭北約克郡Nidd河邊的Ursula Sontheil的一個超自然力量的山洞裡。她的母親生下她時剛15歲，她沒有父親，很小的時候就擁有了超凡的通靈和預言能力，因此也成為了當地人嚴重的惡魔。在希普頓2歲就進定居修道院，一直到她生命的最後。

她的真正名字無人懂，希普頓是因為她在24歲時嫁給了托比·希普頓。
