How could I know what I want?
"What do you want to do?"
"What do you see yourself in 5 years?"
Why do you need to ask me all those questions?
Why don’t I know the answers to those quesitons?
I had two other phone interviews this week and I still do not know if they’re what I want. After chatting with other people in the company or just classmates, people gave me same questions at the end - what exactly do you want? I only know that I am good at analysis, strong at organization, quick, big picture but attention to details. That can put me in marketing, finance, general management.. anything. So why do you want to know what I want? Can I just promise you that I can deliver what you want?
A small voice in my heart telling me that, quick, quick, you need to make decision before 30. This is a big decision. If you want to change career, do it now or too late. You cannot afford another colledge graduate job too many times. Do people know better what they want after 30? Are people really happy with their work after they become directors or senior managers?
Feeling like a stick in the river, not knowing where I am going.. Sending resumes to the companies I know little about.
If it’s a process that I have to go through to find true happiness, I’m praying that the time could be minimized.
