We didn’t do anything special yesterday. Studied a little bit, went out for dinner in China Town and movie. Two girls were leaving today.

Minh stayed up pretty late, but I slept so much everyday=.= we didn’t go out til after lunch. First, we went to COMP USA, tried to look for a DC which Minh liked and was willing to buy. The DC are not that expensive now, cheaper than I expected and of coz, the one I got getting cheaper right now, anyway, I like mine^^ I do think it’s more convenient to have a DC. Minh has looked for a DC for a long time, and she found a small Fuwji one that was very nice. The quality was good and the price was reasonable too. However, when Minh tried to pay for it, they didn’t accept Minh’s check, so bad…..>.<

Then we went to a store just across the street, very nice store. At first I thought things would be expensive inside, but they were not. They were so unique; I didn’t see those in other store. Hoho….i got some really good deal, because the cashier entered the wrong price, I got 4 items for just one dollar each^^~hehe….lucky ye!

Minh wanted to check her vision. Poor Minh, got vision problem too~ remembered that I got my first glasses in 9th grade because I wanted one, not because of any serious vision problem, but now it just getting deeper and deeper. Er…I desired it!=.=
Finally, she decided to check it at school as well. It’s better than paying a lot outside if you don’t necessary need a glasses.

We went to Ghirardelli, which is a famous soda fountain and chocolate shop. Felt so comfortable saying inside. Then we went to City Gallery, a very old fashion white building in the center. They show the pictures of Chicago. It was not a museum, a very small, but nice place! We walked through Michigan Avenue in dusk. Many famous stores are beyond the side. This was city. Not feel surprised but missing. I like to take pictures at this time, so beautiful. Chicago River reflected the light and the emotion of the city. Green~a color belongs to it.

Before we got on the top of John Hancock, another highest building in Chicago. We went to Cheesecake Factory to have dinner. It was pretty expensive but the cheesecake was so great. This restaurant is right down John Hancock, so after dinner, we got on it immediately.

The day before yesterday, we went on the top of Sears Tower; today we went on John Hancock at night. They had different kind of views, but all were amazing. John Hancock is closer to the lake. Because it was at night, you couldn’t see the road clearly except the lights. They made a formal pattern in your eyes. The Sears Tower looked so gorgeous.

Minh asked me whether the night of Chicago or of Hong Kong is better. Absolutely, HONG KONG~ not because I’m from Hong Kong, but truly, I think Hong Kong’s is better. It is different to compare. However, I’ll keep my answer.

Picture: Chicago at night.
