在珍古德的 Harvest For Hope 書裡讀到:

One is to protect the frequently anemic animals from diseases due to an unhealthy diet and living in overcrowded, stressful conditions. And the other is because a small dosage of antibiotics seems to help animals grow faster..."

如果˙我們把以照慣行方式飼養的牲畜稱為畜生 

爲了商業利潤竭盡所能地提供降低生產成本

努力在狹小且不人道的空間裡塞進最多數量的畜生

灌輸給這些畜生極度的壓力及緊張的環境

接著  在他們身上打荷爾蒙/抗生素  在黑心飼料裡添加化學成分

掩飾一切 ˙看起來都很好˙或是沒人看的到˙甚至是沒人在意

很多人喜好

以最偷懶的方式  讓生活過的有效率

以最不健康的態度  打造緊繃環境  然後在消費中尋求舒壓

我突然發現 這些人的生活方式跟飼養畜生沒什麼兩樣嘛!

(以前我的工作就是半夜兩點下班, 起床之後再猛灌雞精....)
