Yesterday I and a friend went to Kaohsiung Culture Center to listen José Carreras’ concert.

It was a special experience for me and I was excited.

Because José Carreras is a international super star,

he is a top tenor in the world.



This time is the ninth time José Carreras come to Taiwan,

and is the first time to barnstorm in Taiwan.

He held the concert in Kaohsiung,Tainan,Taichung and Taipei.

The concert in Kaohsiung was the first showing,

and the international super star usually don’t hold concert in south area of Taiwan,

so this time was a nice chance to listen international plane concert for the Kaohsiung citizen.

One thing to deserve to be mentioned was that day all the air conditioner to be closed.

Because the running voice of the air conditioner motor will affect the audience’s listening.

So when we entered Chih-Teh Hall,we felt the air was muggy.

When the concert began,

Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra members walked into the stage,

All the audience gave them an enthusiastic applause.

After one minute,José Carreras and bandmaster David Giménez also walked into the stage,

the audience gave them an big enthusiastic applause.

José Carreras and David Giménez bowed to the audience,

David Giménez walked up the conduct stand and began conducted Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra,

the wonderful concert began formally.

I like two song : Musica proibita and the Piscatore e Pusilleco.

I enjoy the chorus of Musica proibita,

and I feel the melody of Piscatore e Pusilleco have a bit of sorrow.



When the concert ended,

the audience gave José Carreras,David Giménez and Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra an enthusiastic applause,

and kept calling ”encore”,finally standing ovation,

so José Carreras sang six encore song,

the amount of encore song is so unfrequent in a concert.

You can imagine the enthusiasm of the audience and we can know José Carreras is a humane singer.



When the concert ended,I walked out Chih-Teh Hall with my friend,

I put down my concert compendium on the railing and troubled my friend to photograph me.

One minute passing,I had photographed.

When I turned my head,I discovered my concert compendium had blanked out.

It was so provoking!!

But it was my inadvertence,so what could I say?

When we walked to the plaza,we discovered Kaohsiung City mayor Chen Chu at there,

an multitude were photographing with her.

And I also photographed with her,

though I lost my concert compendium,

it still were a wonderful night.
