Another Year

A new year~ I will be at the stage of being ”mature” (which is ”old” in another word) this April~ =.=

I have not kept down anything here since last September. Let me see what happened in the last couple months...

I have taught in a new school since last September. I have enjoyed working there so far. The boss is nice to me and the students are teachable though they were headaches in the very beginning. I was even wondering if they were really learning English before I taught there. @.@ The previous teacher got sacked because of irresponsibility anyway.

I am not sure if work has made my originally bad health worse or it just happened. I caught a flu once a month since last September~ There has only been one month by now that I did not call in sick. =~=

In November, the first of November, I unexpectedly went back to visit my parents out of my dad’s accident. He was not seriously injured but he did look aged with years’ struggling for the family.: (

Christmas and New Year’s eve in 2005 just went by. They were not really that memorable. I got a pair of amethyst earrings as a Christmas gift. : ) They made my amethyst collection one more step further. On New Year’s eve, there was a countdown party right outside my apartment complex since I live right across the road from Toayuan county government hall. All shops nearby stayed opend until 1:30 A.M. or so. I wish it could be like that all year long~ : D

January 9th & 10th drove me crazy due to the train ticket booking~ =””= It happens every single year~ The line was jampacked and got disconnected whenever it ”wanted” to so there were quite a lot of people who did not even know they successfully reserved the tickets until they tried to book again since the system did not say so before it disconnected. @~@ I was one of them. Anyway, it was much better than getting none, wasn’t it?

In a word, I start to like the small county city Taoyuan. There are 7 diners that do not close until midnight near my place, including KFC & Madonald’s. There are 3 department stores where I can go shopping though I seldom find anything worthy buying. I am still used to shopping in Taipei where I often see something to grab. :O Besides, the only movie theater here is within walking distance. I do not have to worry about transportaion afterwards.

A steady relationship needs excitement once for a while. Every good relationship requires management. Though there are some things that can not be easily compromised such as sense of value and religion, they should still be tried to work on...
