My scooter was towed away last Saturday. I went to work at 1 PM that day and left my scooter in front of the bank China Trust across the road from my school. I didn’t know it was a non-parking area. There was no sign there and there were quite a lot of scooters parking there. Anyway, when I got out off work, I didn’t see my scooter. I was walking along that sidewalk for a few times to look for my scooter and suddenly I saw a tiny red notice on a lamp post right in front of China Trust saying that it is a towaway zone~ I didn’t know where my scooter was towed to and there was no phone number or address left on the ground so I went back home first and called the telephone directory line 104 to ask the phone number of the towaway department in Taoyuan city. I got its number from 104 and phoned to ask where it is. I didn’t go to take my scooter back until today since it was too late to go on Saturday night and I was so sick yesterday. I even took a day off today. My throat is sore and it is swollen in back of my mouth, which makes eating get damn hurt. I could barely have anything yesterday. My mouth hurt even when I was drinking water or swallowing saliva. =””= I saw a doctor on Saturday night but the medicine didn’t seem that effective so I went to see a throat specialist tonight and after that I went to take back my scooter. It cost me NT$100 more for my scooter to stay there for two days. =””= I took a day off today and it will cost me more than NT$1000. Besides, the bonus of monthly attendence will be gone. It is about NT$1000~2000 and the towaway fine is NT$600 exclusive NT$250 towaway fee.
