O INTRODUCE MYSELF

(Ⅰ)This evening’s Toastmaster, President, and all fellow Toastmasters, good evening!

It’s my pleasure to make an English lecture to you.

The topic is very simple: To introduce myself.  Who am I?  And I am who?

(Ⅱ) I think there are still many friends don’t know me. Are you curious about me?

Do you like me, do you hate me, or do you love me?

(Ⅲ)I am a common person, living in Taichung city for forty years.

And I am a businessman, engaged in real estate for fifteen years.

(Ⅳ)The business model of my company is a little unique.

First, I rented two buildings from two landlords. The two big buildings consisted of many suites.

Then I decorated and equipped those rooms.  Next I rented them to office workers or students.

(Ⅴ)By the way, one of my buildings is just for females.  So a friend made fun of me. He said that,” There are more than forty girls hiding in your rooms.”

(Ⅵ)Someone asked me why do I want to attend the Toastmaster Club.  My answer was that I don’t want to be a failure any more.  I failed in chasing girls in my college time.  I failed in having good relationships with my friends.  I failed in expressing accurately what I want to say.

(Ⅶ)Owing to the fears and lack of confidence, I used to be shy and afraid to express myself in public.

Many times I hear other people speak bullshit.  But I can’t but follow those people’s stupid ideas.

There was often a voice burning in my brain, telling me to stand up and tell the bullshit six down.

(Ⅷ)But nothing happened.  I hated myself.  I don’t like that kind of me.

 But I don’t know how to change myself.  I don’t know how to overcome my fears.

(Ⅸ)Luckily, God blessed me. By joining the Toastmaster Club, I have the opportunity to rebuild my confidence. I can learn the communication and leadership skills.

Let the past be the past. I am a new-born man.

(Ⅹ)Who says the forty-year old man only remains a mouth.

Yes, just the mouth. The mouth is powerful and precious. The mouth can change the world.

(Ⅹ1)In the end, I want to say:” friends, never give up”

Miracle are everywhere in the world.

Keep walking, just do it, yes you can, yes I can,and everybody can.
