餐旅概論

一、科目概要Course Description

本科目之目標在培養學生認識旅館業、餐飲業、旅行業休閒遊憩等餐旅相關產業之屬性、架構及基本運作,並透過餐旅相關錄影帶及多媒體教學之使用,協助學生了解餐旅業,並實施戶外教學,帶領學生參觀相關餐旅機構,以增廣見聞。

The goal of this course students understand hotels, restaurants, travel and other hospitality-related recreation industry properties, structure and basic operation. Also Hospitality related through the use of video and multimedia to help students understand the hospitality industry, and implementation of outdoor education, and lead students to visit related to hospitality institutions in order to broaden their horizons.

二、教學目標(Course Objectives

1、引導學生認識旅館業、餐飲業、旅行業、休閒產業等餐旅服務等相關產業之屬性、架構及基本運作。

2、提供符合餐旅相關職場所需之基本餐旅專業知能。

3、注重師生溝通與研討,強化學習效果。

4、理論與實務並重。

Guide students to understand the hotel industry, restaurants, travel and leisure industries, and other related industries such as hospitality services, property, structure and basic operation.

Required to comply with the workplace to provide basic hospitality related professional knowledge Hospitality.

Focus on teacher-student communication and discussion, and strengthen learning.

Theory and practice.

三、評量方式與評分比例分配

Evaluation Criteria

平時成績(課堂參與與表現)Participation: 40%

(Attendance, assignments and activeness in discussion )

期中考(或繳交期中報告)midterm exam: 30%

期末考(或期末報告)term final exam: 30

四、課堂要求

(Course Requirements & Policies

期待同學帶著愉快心情來上課,

並遵守上課基本要求:準時、尊重別人之發言、關手機(或轉為震動)、勿私下傳遞與討論課程無關之資訊、積極提問回答和參與討論。

授課以中文教學。

Lectures will be given by mandarin via PowerPoint in English. Expect that all students could be pleasant to go through the whole course and follow the ground rule of classroom which includes: come to class on time, respect others, no eating, no circulating materials among students when the class is in session. Spontaneous interaction (such as questioning and answering) and be active in group project is highly expected. Please bring personal dictionary or electronic translator all the time.
