San Francisco Caltrain - From downtown San Francisco south to San Jose. Price depends on zones - 4 zones in between. General ticket price is about $3-$6.
From San Francisco International Airport to Stanford University - Take Millbrae BART to Millbrae - $1.5. (Only 1 stop) Then take Caltrain SOUTH to Palo Alto station - $4.25 (Don’t take EXPRESS train, or you’ll miss Palo Alto and direct to San Jose.) Finally, take Marguerite FREE bus route A to Stanford campus.

San Francisco BART - Connect San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley.
UC Berkeley
Golden Gate Bridge - Take public transportation. Several choices - our route - take MUNI route M toward OCEAN VIEW $1.5 (Take a transit ticket) from downtown POWELL station (You can also choose Civic Center station or Montgomery station) get off by 19th station. Then go across JUDAH st. to take bus #28 direct to fianl stop - Golden Gate Bridge.
UC San Francisco is located in between - stop by Carl st. and Arguello st., you’ll see.

Yes, yes. This trip also brought back my momery at SF with my mom 2 yrs ago. I even remembered where we ate the buffet at that time. I like individual travel, my own schedual, time, and I even knew a lot of public transportations which I`d never taken. 2007-06-10 22:58:45
