Wayne Shorter 是 Adam’s Apple, JuJu & Speak no Evil，所以應該只有日規的 Kenny Barron 比較貴一點，其他的感覺蠻實惠的 ~
Bill Evans 1963 年的 At Shelly’s Manne-Hole 的 Live 專輯 Bass 是 Chuck Israels 代替已故 Scott LaFaro，鼓手則是 Larry Bunker。Bill 1974 在加拿大的 Blue in Green 專輯果然是很讚，無論 Bill 的凌厲或 Eddie Gomez 的個性化演奏都令人讚嘆不已，鼓手是 marty morell，整個三重奏三方互動的模式已臻化境。但最重要的是聽過原版才知道如何在譜上面彈 one for helen, very early, 34 skidoo, blue in green, T.T.T. twelve tone tune 等。
Renee Rosnes 這片專輯的第一首就是 Summer Night，跟 Chick Corea 的 summer night 比劃比劃。專輯 with a little help from my friends 就是邀了不少好手來共襄盛舉, 包括 ron carter, jack dejohnette, al foster, joe henderson, branford marsalis, chris potter, dianne reeves, wayne shorter 等, 此女子的專輯到目前為止都尚未令鮪魚失望過。
為了聽 Yes or No 買的 Wayne Shorter JuJu，決定好好來認識一下這位大師。然後也想聽一聽Joe Henderson 在 tetragon 裡的 invitation，還有 McCoy Tyner 原汁 moment’s notice & Passion Dance。至於 Kenny Barron、Al Foster、Jay Leanhart 的 ’super standard’ super trio 中，則因為有鮪魚熟悉的 ’入門’ 曲目，來看看名家如何詮釋勒- All of me, Bye bye blackbird, cherokee, misty, 也有剛講那首 harry warren 的 summer night~ 縱使本專輯聽起來太 ’甜’ 了一點，kenny barron 的即興技法還是大有可學之處。
