1. 搶救整艘漁船捕獲的水族，有無上的功德與福田！
多年前每週洗腎三次的周師兄，總是在洗腎中心，遇到一位左右腎已經切除，身上掛著尿袋的師姐。該師姐天性樂觀，並不為病苦灰心喪志，經由貴人指點，每天凌晨四五點即前往港口，等待歸航的漁船，當下即刻為被捕而下的水族贖身，放回海中。如此日復一日年復一年，無以數計的水族獲救，師姐的生命也持續延續著！為搶救漁船水族的大威功德力，做出強而有力的見證，也激勵著周師兄，一生奉獻於救生護生，直至今日，周師兄仍在某護生園擔任志工！
2. 落幕時的安可: 野生紅甘獲救
基隆和平島的救生活動，圓滿落幕！如同戲劇般的安可聲，再帶來一隻求救的野生大紅甘。巧遇一艘歸航的漁船，正有一隻大型銀白，粉紅光澤的紅甘魚，於船主的網中大幅掙扎跳動，園區即刻攔截而下，入水的紅甘魚，動作迅速，即刻於海中消失不見蹤跡！
3. 活動圓滿: 懇請師兄姐持續支持與鼓勵
基隆和平島的救生活動，我們搶救了兩艘漁船捕獲的海蟹，在最後一刻，又意外攔截了一隻原本要送往餐廳料理生魚片的大紅甘。本周末即將舉行的虱目魚苗搶救活動，以及年節前夕即將攔截的雞隻、羊兒、烏魚，乃至1/19(日)基隆和平島再次的救生活動，還要懇求師兄姐最大力的支持與鼓勵！

【Successful completion of animal rescue on Heping Island, Keelung City: 2 ships of crabs bring rescued】

1. The rescue of a ship of aquatic lives accumulates and cultivates unsurpassed meritorious virtues and blessings!
Many years ago, one of our supporters, Mr Chau, usually encountered a lady, who had removed both her kidneys, in a renal dialysis center. She was always with a peritoneal bag but she had a positive mind and did not lose hope due to her illness. With guidance from her benefactor, she waited for fishing ships at 4 or 5 am every day, bought the caught animals and released them back to the sea. Days after days, countless aquatic lives had been rescued and survived through her hands. This lady also had her life continued despite being heavily ill! This is a strong proof of the immense meritorious virtues as a result of the rescue of a whole ship of aquatic lives. Mr Chau was motivated by the lady, and committed his time to animal rescue and protection. He is a volunteer in one of our sanctuary zone until today!
2. "Encore" of animal rescue upon our return: wild purplish amberjack being saved
The animal rescue on Heping Island, Keelung City completed successfully! As if an encore of a drama, we also rescued a wild purplish amberjack from a returning fishing boat. The amberjack was a big one with silvery white and pink shining scales, struggling in the fishing net. We immediately rescued the amberjack that it swiftly swam into the sea far beyond our eyesight!
3. Completion of animal rescue: please continue your support and encouragement
In this animal rescue event, we have saved 2 ships of crabs and a big purplish amberjack intended to be sent to a restaurant for sashimi. At the coming weekend, we will be rescuing milkfish fries; meanwhile, we will also save chicken, goats, mullets before the year end, and another batch of aquatic animals on Heping Island, Keelung City on 19 Jan (Sun). We sincerely solicit your biggest support and encouragement for these rescue events!
