2006 幻詠香江 Hong Kong (一)
Recently, I did have too much clubbing. And the funny is I couldn’t believe myself turning to the list of drunks. Then the other night I found myself so space-out and spewed a bunch of Rum and Vodka..etc.
Yes, I had a great time when the alcohol flushed down to fuck my brain off.
Yes, I realized that sooner or later I ‘m turning to 30 something, and undoubtedly, that’s the major process of Shape-Shift.
Christ, what the heck going on with me? Am I converting to a guy who is only speaking about the job, the complaint of lives. It seems no fun afterwards. Or that’s something like Price we have to pay is for maturity.
SO In order to molt before a stunning butterfly, Suffering must be inevitable, right ?
I’m sick and tired of be calling that u are still young and handsome as formality. The True, im so desperately hoping to feel fulfilled to gain the happiness without worry. If everyone pursues carefree joy and ecstasy, so what’s so bothering me to endure all of this phenomenon.
Though the sadness devours my soul, more importantly, I take that so bright in the life. Becos actually we are living much better off compared with people are facing hunger and death in some corner of world.
(Before The Itinerary)
It’s always been so fuxking nice to meet up my alternative family members like Jaimen, Seth, Jason, KangKang. and some others. I mean the warmth of reunion can bring up much joy and fun. Also, I feel no longer lone at the edge of mainstream society. However, after my six time cold touch laser on my face, yep, positively it really helps and get better a bit! (At least, I was told that yes , Elf u do look better A LITTLE BIT )

Route: TPE – HKG
The night, firstly arrived at HK international Airport, I finally saw Regal Airport Hotel for the sight. I couldn’t help myself getting so much excited for my beginning of HK trip. Then it’s also exciting to wait and see my good friend Perry in HK.
Airport Express (機場快線) Lantau Island – HK Island (香港島)
It’s amazing me and Perry seem old friend-like and tks for his clear briefing to my general geography of HK. And I was enjoying so much on the way to his residence Happy Valley. (跑馬地).

Happy Valley(跑馬地) - Ocean Park(海洋公園)
Everything in here seemed a bit nonsense. We just fetched some fast food set .But so stupid that we could get the better set and stuff in other district. Ocean park is nice and I did enjoy the time with Perry on cable car watching out of window to see Repulse Bay. It’s like living in a wonderland. Some good facilities are like Ocean Park Tower, Atoll Reef and Butterfly House. ( What a pity, we just stopped by Aberdeen without enjoying the seafood on JUMBO Boat)
Later that afternoon, Perry introduced some friends to me at Central(中環). Actually, 1stly I faked myself into a state with guts to socialize more. And I deeply knew I’d been only a tourist to join the dinner time at Lan Kwai Fang. Soon after the Malay&Indian Food, we decided to head off to 2M BAR for chit-chat. Then, I found my HK life has jst begun with those new friends,Mark, Nick,and Jacky.
On the way back with Perry,I tried the stuff called Star fruit Jelly Soup. It’s GROSS! 书

Happy Valley(跑馬地) – Stanley(赤柱)
3 of us including one new guy ( Perry’s friend) had light Dim Sum（飲茶點心）as our lunch session. Assorted light snacks such as Har Gau(蝦餃),Siu Mai(燒賣),and Cheung Fan(腸粉) are bound to become so local specialty. It’s quit amazing all the way to Stanley on bus, I’ve seen blocks and block and old bungalows. Here it is, an exotic fishing village is full of tourist footprints. Stanly Main Street has become such a tourist selling place. The goods are mainly related to some antiques and Chinese gadgets. Certainly, another tourist attraction is Murray House(美利樓) located on the south of HK island.
Stanley(赤柱) – Repulse Bay(淺水灣)
On the way back, we dropped by on the great beach. Something stunned me is there are two giant oval buildings upper the hill. And I believe it must be packed and crowded at the summer.
Repulse Bay (淺水灣)–Victoria Habor(幻彩詠香江) - Mong Kok(旺角)
Perry’s hospitality has no doubts that I got the best view to enjoy the symphony of lights of HK skyline. It’s really amazing watching those skyscrapers. Then quickly met up with friends at Mong Kok. It’s a bit mess around here. I call this place like 三重 in TPE. BUT, the truly greatness is night market in here varies. Anyhow, the best food we can get here is open-air Sea Food. Lots of fresh choices and low-priced luxurious indulgence in this area (Lady’s Market).

Happy Valley(跑馬地) –Causeway Bay(銅鑼灣)
Eventually , I got to take care of my own, a bit late in the morning, hopped on so called Minibus heading off to Causeway Bay. My way of transportation is Taxi, MRT, Trams(Din Din) by using my Octopus card. No doubt that HK’s shopping scene seems to be everywhere. Time Square is the place to knock you down without saying any words. And I’ve noticed some goodies so that’s the beginning to create my debts.
Causeway Bay(銅鑼灣) - Wong Tai Sin Temple(黃大仙)
About noon time, I arrived in here which is at Kowloon. There’s nothing very special for the temple I suppose Taoism in Taiwan is as much as common. So after a few mins walking around, i went next to meet up the friend Max. Luckily, he could show me around in Tsim Sha Tsui and I’ve really impressed at the local food called 雲吞 and 蒸鮮奶. Soon after that, we visited some places like Kowloon City Park and be noticed that the out door swimming pool is quite eyecandy.
Tsim Sha Tsui(尖沙嘴) – Central (中環)
Get aboard the Star Ferry(天星小輪). My mood promptly turns pleasant. And I believe those people commute each little by this wouldn’t have savor this moment. Only drifting about 8 mins to the other side and it’s such wide eyeshot throughout Victoria Harbor. (Must Try)
SoHo (半山) – The Peak (山頂)
Later the evening, ,met up with Perry for gay-must suntanning at SoHo (mid-level) area. Then we hopped on world’s longest escalator throughout the exotic bistro and shops up the hills. This place has mixed up so well in western and Chinese-style living. The fusion of Western meeting East is the feature.
All the ways to the top of Peak. There’s something so unforgettable and magnificent night I’ve ever seen. Feel like in the middle of nowhere. Yes, HK deserves the name of Never-Fall city.
This is the night. People all hang out for clubbing. It also becomes PLU’s one of regular scenes. Besides, who can say No to the landmark venue – Propaganda and Rice. Perry bought me to Rice 1st which is really Ricey.Then cross a few blocks and sneaked the little dark valley. Yes, here is PP.
We actually had more fun in PP. Also, caught up with Nick, Mark, and Jacky. Dancing on the floor and jump up to the stage. Spinning the butts Very groovy!

Finally got up from the bed. As decided to shop around, I couldn’t think about last night clubbing. Such a headache with the wave of hangover, hopped on Minibus alone towards to IFC. Meanwhile, Perry and Danny were still asleep then.
IFC is really awesome. I couldn’t’ help myself shopping around and purchased some fancy and chic stuff. ZARA has very reasonable price with good quality.
Pacific Palace(中古廣場)
After the discussion, i finally met up with Perry and Danny at JR Marriot. Pretty nice to have so called High Tea. But honestly, I lost my appetite for those cakes and snacks. (too sticky)
Later that night, it appeared to be another great clubbing. While arriving in King Hotel, sooner there’s the flock of people coming along. This party is pretty druggie and certainly for my recreational preference. It could be fun. I’d been very pleasant and carefree dancing here. And DJ spun some dreamy trances for the party.
Out there is a bit like open air courtyard. There’s no longer to feel lonely if u are really here to chit chat with a bunch of some friends. After that, Perry left earlier so that I could attend morning party with Nick and Jacky.

What a short day with Nick at Harbor afternoon tea as traveller’s most favorite. Sort of like a dream sipping the beer along the harbor view. A Brief comprehension to know each of us and then jumped back to say goodbye to Perry and Danny for the end of my last nite.

小六跑來找我啦! 這次的見面,大家的心態都變得成熟(不過還好都沒有變老).
我喜歡和小六那種漫夜長談的感覺. 因為我們似乎有說不完的話! 慶幸的是,老媽見到他就好像當做自己的兒子似的! 哈哈! 三月底, Nick和我相聚,雖然離上一次他的生日不久,不過我們的情誼越來越堅定.
上次Nick’s Birthday 我見遍了很多台北的朋友,也見識他的好人緣. 圈子小,很多朋友也是我之前認識的朋友. 這次,我試著讓讓家人跟他碰面,且在誠品101新湘菜用餐. 還好有小六在,讓這場飯局格外開心.當然,不外乎就是見見我這邊的親朋好友. 感謝Jason的大力幫忙,讓這場生疏的Barbecue 告下句點.
