On the Christmas eve-
my host family follow their family tradition which is make some special foods. My host mom cook some shrimp, because shrimp here is not common which means shrimp here is expensive!!!

After big dinner, now have a problem. My host dad family’s tradition is open one gift on Christmas eve, but my host mom family’s didn’t. In the end, Carol decided to follow my host dad family’s tradition( If is me, I will choose the same one with Carol’s!!! XD) When we open our gift( Only me and my two host sister can do that.), I am so surprised, it was a pajamas from my host mom!!! That is so cute ^^And then, my host mom prepare a plate, put some cookies and vegetables on that, told me that is for Santa and his reindeer. After I take a bath, I wore my new pajamas and kept excited feeling then went to bed.

This was the best Christmas that I never have had!!!!!!!!!!
On December 25 morning-
At 7:50,
my host sister knocked at my bedroom door,
said:
� Yu-Ga, it’s time to open gifts!!!”
Few seconds later,
I walked out and see Shari, carol, and corieen,
they all stood next to the piano and waited for me.
My host mom told me:
” We should wait for all kids already then go to look at gifts together.”
That was amazing feeling when I saw a lot of gifts shown in front of my eyes!!!!!

First,
we take out gifts from stockings.
(they said those gifts from stockings is from Santa.)
Wow!!!!
I really can’t believe that,
Santa gave me a lot of gifts,
like ear rings,
a big candy cane,
candies,
lottery tickets....
When we all took out our gifts from Santa
(not just kids have gifts!!)
Then--------->

Second,
we started to take gifts from each other.
HAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
You know what?!!!
I gave my Carol a gift.
I think she must be very happy.
Because I gave her 2 hermit crabs,
every times, when she go to the store,
she always excited about those crabs.
People paint colors on the crab’s shell,
that is why people like those crabs.
OK, except they all got a lot of gifts,
I did too!!!!! ^^
I got a lot of jewelry( very much!!!!)
I got some things for nails,
I got .......
And I really like one which is my host family go to mall to made a ornament and on the ornament have five reindeer,
each deer have their own name.
And my name is including on that!!!!!!!
That was so warm and special!!!!!!

Oh!!!!!!!!
I forget to tell you,
those stuff on the plate was already ate by Santa and his reindeer.(I don’t know is true or not, but somebody ate them.)

After breakfast,
we went to Missouri by car.
Then we met more cousin from Shari’s and George’s family members. They gave each other a lot of gifts too.
I got some jewelry again ^^
( they are all beautiful ^^),

In the end,
I want to tell you is-
In America,
Christmas is a super big holiday.
On the Christmas day,
there is no any store open,
including big mall, big restaurant and gas station.
( Like Mcdonalds or Wal-mart...........)
Because everybody want to go home.
(isn’t that crazy!!!!!!!! But it’s so cool!!!!)

And not just people gave me gifts,
I gave them too.
I used water color’s brush with the gold color,
then wrote the Chinese calligraphy on it.
( mom, thank you. If you don’t ask me to practice calligraphy, then.........haha..you know ~)

Anyway, I had a good Christmas this year.
