老歌亂談(810)Longer
此首《Longer》為美國歌手兼詞曲作家Dan Fogelberg自寫自唱，於1979所發行的歌曲，另也收錄在專輯《Phoenix》及《Greatest Hit 》(1982)中。此曲在告示牌熱門榜獲得亞軍 ( 在「當代成人」及「錢櫃」排行榜則為冠軍 )，也是Dan Fogelberg最為知名的代表作品。
1997，Dan Fogelberg在一次線上訪談時說到寫此歌的靈感：他當時和首任妻子 ( 其實應該還沒正式結婚 ) 在夏威夷的茂宜島 ( Maui ) 渡假，某晚躺在吊床上看著天際的星斗，而這首歌就像在星空中一直飄浮環繞看著他，當下他就覺定替這首歌找個好歸宿。Dan Fogelberg也不諱言，這首歌就像讓他搭上了「電梯」。
Dan Fogelberg也說，每位寫歌者都夢想寫出一首經典的情歌，這首歌會一直留傳到世界末日( 或是人們對於「羅曼蒂克」、「情歌」這些重新的定義 )，人們會在婚禮上唱它，並真正意識到它，這種感覺真是太美妙了。
Dan Fogelberg前後共結過三次婚，或許對於愛情的悸動已逐漸退燒，之後未再有更超越的情歌作品。2007死於前列腺癌，享年56歲，身後並無任何子嗣。
