老歌亂談(594)Let the Little Girl Dance
出生於1932的美國黑人歌手Billy Bland出道甚早，19歲時就已在紐約做首次的職業演出。
1960年的某日，Billy Bland在錄音室聽到另位歌手Titus Turner正在錄這首《Let the Little Girl Dance》，或許倆人相熟，他特別示範給Turne看該如何唱這首歌 ( 相關的樂師也在現場配合 )，而這整個過程被唱片製作人Henry Glover給錄了下來，最後將此發行了單曲。此曲在黑人單曲排行榜獲得了第11名，在告示牌熱門榜則為第7，也成為了Billy Bland最為著名的歌曲。
對於Titus Turner來說，這簡直是「禍從天降」，之後似未再發行此曲。而人生的機運也很難說，就算沒有殺出Billy Bland這個程咬金，Turner原來的版本恐也未必會成為熱門曲。
