老歌亂談(十)Okie From Muskogee

可能是我以前不太聽鄉村歌曲，也可能是當年進入排行榜的名次太低（1970.1.3排行No.41），這首歌是我後來買了一套「新力冠軍年鑑」才聽到的。
歌好聽不說，看了歌曲的介紹更是令我印象深刻。這是一首對抗七O年代美國「嬉皮文化」、反「反越戰」的愛國歌曲，也成為代表美國精神的經典名曲，因此Merle Haggard（墨爾海格）也和巨星約翰韋恩一樣被視為英雄偶像。
看兩大鄉村歌壇老巨星同台合唱真的很過癮，而且我認為Merle Haggard現在的造型要比年輕時酷多了。
Okie From Muskogee（馬斯高基的莊稼漢），曲名中的Okie，指的是從奧克拉荷馬州向外遷移找工作的貧窮農民。
