A massive slab of Antartic ice suddenly collapsed yesterday,while another chunk
that it was connected to,about half the size of Scotland,is hanging by a thread.

Now scientists kenw that the ice shelf was going to break away at some point,but
on one predicted that it would shatter this soon.
