【Life Biz】To Compete under Pressure

Last Friday, I went to a big company for applying for a job. The company was so good and the candidates were all so experienced. I was the ONLY one who hasn’t had any formal working experience. In some aspect, it’s a confirmation to me. But the truth was that the competition was so keen.

In Sunday morning, I went playing basketball by myself and joined in 3-on-3 games. After finding 2 other people as my teammates, we faced the other 5 teams’ challenges. On basketball court, it always a winner-take-it-all situation, so if you lose a game, you have to take a long break (at least 20 minutes) until your next chance to go on.

After giving up some job chance on Wednesday, I was so luckily to get another interview chance from the other company. Thanks for their grace! My mother once warned that I have to think about whether to get a job or to get an ideal salary I except. I just said “Don’t worry, be happy!” In my deeply heart, I, of course, want both. But if I have to make a choice, frankly speaking, I think it is right to choose what I like. People would challenge me “Are you really sure that you really like your choice?” or “How can you know it’s really a good one?” “Listen to your heart!” That is Steve’s answer.

How were the ball games? Of course, after I shot three dumping-beepers in each game, I led my team to win. Or maybe, I could just say “to stay” (on the court).
