The skin type profiler quiz
ok, just a place to store information~
anyway, the skin type quiz is pretty good. Simple and easy to understand.
You probably can find the quiz anywhere online.
Skin type: Combination / Sensitive
You may have combination skin type. Combination skin tends to have a slightly oily T-zone across the nose, chin and forehead, but is usually balanced or even prone to dryness on the other parts of the face. The pores may be visible especially on oilier areas such as the T-zone and cheeks, and blemishes are few, except for the occasional spot within the T-zone.
You may also have sensitive skin. Skin sensitivity isn’t so much a skin type as it is a skin condition. Sensitive skin reacts and gets irritated easily with burning, stinging, flaking, redness, itching.
Skincare: Combination skin can be slightly tricky, since you have both oily and dry areas. To treat combination skin, you have to treat the two zones separately, mattifying the oily bits, and moisturizing the dry or normal bits. Look for products with that are specially made for combination skins. Use a clay mask for areas that tend to be oily, and apply a richer moisturizer to the drier areas. Because your skin is also sensitive, take special care to avoid skincare products containing harsh ingredients such as alcohol and fragrances – products labelled hypoallergenic are best.
