Sometimes, I just don't understand.
I really wonder, does such thing only happen to me, or it actually happens to everybody? If so, how do other people deal with that?
老是放舊照片也不是辦法....
Stories always started from one of my friends asked me for some kind of helps. I am fine with that, actually I was kind of happy that I could help my friends in some degree. After all, what's friend for, right? So, I changed my plans, I rearranged my schedule, or I worked hard to finish some jobs, base on what kinds of help they asked.
For most of times, it went well. My friends got their needs, and I was happy I helped. Everything was great. However, sometimes, after I did what they had asked me to do, they just acted like…. nothing had happened, or even they don't care if there was a person who was waiting for them.
Let me just give an example. One of my friends asked me to help her fixing her computer script, and even though I got appointment next day but she also needed to fix that tomorrow. Therefore, I postponed my meeting, made an appointment with her next day morning, and tried to fix her script all night. The problem was, by the time we should meet, she didn't show up, not even had a phone call.
I can give you other several examples like these.
The thing is that I do really wonder if I did something wrong, or if I handled some of these kind situations not well. Otherwise, how to explain that they finally appeared later that day or even next day, they acted just like….they had not even asked? They did not feel sorry at all, and they did not even at least tried to explain what happened to me.
The most interesting thing to me is that when I finally remind them politely, the answer always appeared as that they were sorry for "things happened." (Not I am sorry, but I am sorry "for things happened.") Some other asses did something bad, and they were also in a miserable situation…..
Ok, I am sorry for what happened to you too, but why could you just give me a call? I could know the situation, did not to have to wait there like an idiot, and we could even help you out. Don't you know I was waiting? Even if you were too busy on something important to make a call, why did not you even try to explain to me or at least give me a simple excuse? Not until I mentioned, and, yeah, the "I am sorry for things happened" really does help a lot.
Honestly, I just wonder if such things only happen to me, or it actually happen to everybody. If so, how does everybody deal with that? I just don't understand, if they asked someone for help and turned out acting like this, how do they expect next time anybody would treat their words seriously?
Woa~ Did you always deal with such things before? You should make a list to make sure who could be your friends from now on.
Take care and ttyl~
ps. Long time no see~ the previous click is : 純真遺落 at my blog. Thank you for stop by sometimes.
Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion. It has been a long time since the last time I hear from you. How are you? It's very nice to see you again.
You know, probably you are right, I should make a list or something. But, the only problem is that sometimes I just don't want to dirty my own house since someone doesn't care their personal sanitation. I mean, probably it sounds a little bit willfulness, I just don't want to change my attitude to look at the world or build a pre-judge value system to look at my friends just because some selfish guys who don't care their reputation. Those are the people I shouldn't pay attention to, after all. 2013-10-14 03:45:38
