SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

l            From 9 to 13, Feb 2007: joined the school team for ICM (interdisciplinary contest of modeling), with Honorable Price awarded.

Work function: information searching, modeling analysis, and editing of English essay.

 

l            From 1, July to 1, Aug 2007: during the probation in Huarong Asset Management Corp., I was a participant throughout the handing over of archives from Cinda Asset Management Corp. to Huarong.

 

l            From Oct 2006 to Feb, 2007: join the team for L’Oreal e-strat Business Challenge, passed 6 rounds in the competition, won the 9th price in East Asia group.

 

l            From 2 to 15, Aug 2006: Investigation to Sanxingdui site and Museum, Sichuan , for the Summer Social Practice Activities.

Work function: organizing the personnel; questionnaire design and distribution in Sichuan and Shanghai; data analysis; editing report for the inspection on Sanxingdui Museum management status, commercial characteristics and history of cultural relics – “Gilding the Culture: A Modest Investigation on Sanxingdui Museum’s Financial Management.”

 

l            Apr 2006 to present: Research with the support of President's Undergraduate Research Fellowship (PURF)

Work function: studying the interrelationship of financial situation and stock yield of public companies, titled as “Connections between Earnings Quality and Stock Prices among Chinese Public Companies”, serving as the leader of the research.

 

l            May 2006: Field survey to rural workers in Beijing .

Work function: distributing questionnaire and data analysis; applying economic analytical methodology on the farmers in Beijing, their income and children’s education; Inspecting and evaluating the education for farmers’ children in Beijing, the factors of influence and so called “threshold,” proposing suggestions for this concern in the survey essay “Under the Same Blue Sky, Growing Up with Hands Together.”

 

l            Apr 2006: Cocktail party from Department of Finance, College of Economics .

Work function: preparatory plan and part of the organizing work; hosting the party.

 

l            June 2005, Oral defense in Challenging Cup youth academic contest.

Work function: organization of the contest: pre-contest propagation; inviting competitor and referee; hosting the oral defense.

 

l            2004 and 2005: Participation in Jing Cheng Debate Contest in the Department of Economics, obtained first and second prize separately in grouping competition.
