This morning I was reading an article about the early Chinese immigrants in USA. The article is more like a historical recite for stories. It recalled a lot of stories which I heard when I was in New York.
Something I do not understand that why people keep themselves away from someone they love. They married someone in China and moved to USA. Wait for long time to get green card, earn enough money, then let his wife come to USA to make family together.
Life is only once. The half of those marriage is in 2 places. Even they love each other. They have to accept the fact that they can only live in 2 continents. Is it sad?
Maybe, but it is true life as well
