1) Out of suffering come the strongest souls.
最堅強的靈魂是苦難中培養出來的。

2) The worst men give often best advice.
最壞的人常能給予最好的忠告。

3) Eat to live, but do not kchg eat.
少說幾句總比多說幾句好。

4) Difficulties mastered are opportunites own.
能克服困難，則困難化為良機。

5) The highest of art is conceal art.
藝高者其藝不露。

6) He who has not tasted bitter knows not what sweet is.
未嚐苦難者，不知甜蜜之滋味。

7) To live is to do battle.
生活就是戰爭。

8) Ohservation is the best teacher.
觀察乃最佳之教師。

9) Envy is the meanest of the passions.
嫉忌是最卑劣的一種情感。

10) Good words cost nothing, but are worth much.
良言本無價，其貴值千金。

11) Anywhere, provided it be forward.
到任何地方都可以，只要目標向前。

12) We reap what we sow.
我們種的是什麼，收的也是什麼。
(就是"要怎麼收獲先怎麼栽"的意思吧)

13) He that walks with wise men shall be wise.
和聰明人同行的人，也會變得聰明。

14) "Tis better to stumble than not to ctart.
因為走路而摔交，總比站在那裡不動還強些。

15) The sweetest grang the highest.
愈美好的結果愈難得。
