English for me, a Chinese, is a foreign language. In other words, I don’t use English as often as Chinese. Meanwhile, I don’t have many chances to use English in my daily life. Sometimes, I speak English to express my thought, but my sister often says I am bathetic. That really made me disappointed. In my view, as an English major student, I will keep using English as more as possible.

In my opinion, I had different feelings about writing in English.

When in junior high school, I was a beginner in the field of learning English. Everything was tough for me, including alphabet and phonetics. At that moment, memorizing English word was the most important work. Sentences were Greek to me. But, we still asked to write several sentences in exams. But, I think things got better after years of studying English.

After three years, I got into the senior high school. In the first year, in my mind, I was still confused by English. At that time, English became more difficult and complex. But, fortunately, I met a good English teacher. She did help me a lot. After the first year, I fell in love with English. Then, I figured out on one thing that when you interest in one thing, you will do it with more passion. At the end, you may get a good feedback such as good grades, compliments, and so on.

After hard working on English, I entered the English department in Chinese Culture University. Does that mean I am so good at English? No, it is wrong. I think after entering this department means I have more stuff to learn. So I need to brush my English skills during these four years. But, I still feel difficult to write in English. All in all, different times write about different things and use different writing skills. Hope one day, I can write English smoothly.
