看電影是從大學以來便養成的習慣，很懷念以前的日子，國、高中的時候總聽著許多老師在課堂上諄諄地說著：「當學生是最幸福的。」那時的自己很不以為然，不同於身邊想回到童年的同學們，我總是老想著趕快長大，長大到什麼事都能自己決定、自己承擔、自己扛。

　　現在的我還是覺得自己還沒到達那個理想的〝長大〞狀態，但已經很能體會為什麼〝當學生是最幸福的〞，一個人的時間能單純地只被學業或其他細小的瑣事瓜分是幸福的，也許在當下的自己總覺得那些正在進行的已經是人生中大得不能再大的事了，但總有經過的一天，走過之後，才會發覺自己的渺小。

　　大學四年維持著一週至少看兩部以上電影的習慣，出社會之後，再加上宜蘭沒有二輪片、電影院少，能看電影的時間也變少了，最後只得常到百視達去報到；什麼類型的片子我都喜歡，特別鐘愛劇情片和外語片，尤其是大部份人看了會摸不著頭緒或者睡著的那種。

　　【Mr. Woodcock】是一部喜劇片，看卡司或劇情簡介都沒有什麼吸引力，但是我卻在看完這部影片的一個多月後又不由自主地想起了劇情內容，這種遲來的感想是頭一遭；劇中的男主角是個暢銷作家，專寫勵志類書籍，許多人因此得到了鼓舞，當他回到了家鄉，面對著母親的新男友居然是他從小到大的夢魘 ─ 體育老師，他的生命從此與他理性的書寫分道揚鑣，在失序中開始了真實的人生。

　　這樣的景況應該是在每個人的生命中都會發生的，誰都想理性又有條理地經營自己，看著別人的一帆風順與容光煥發，每一句箴言都能是堆疊動力的立基；然而失控卻似乎也正是每種生物的本能，我們總是竭盡所能地想掌控那些不受控制的人、事、物，或許是一種挑戰，更可能是最根本的矛盾本質作祟。

　　但是不論如何，我們能做的永遠都不是綁縛其他身外的人事，而是選擇將自己鬆綁 ...
