今天一進公司，就有早到的工程師說：冷凍庫有爆破的可樂罐，慘不忍睹！

確實是難以收拾，料想是想喝冰飲料的同事，耐不住性子將飲料冰進了冷凍庫，卻又忘了拿了出來。於是政令宣導一番，要同事不要提早老人癡呆啦！

沒想到充滿奇奇怪怪想法的工程師們，竟然已有人將此畫面拍了起了，也開始有了不同的妙語，特摘錄下來 –

政令宣導：

Dear All,

Do not know who put one Coke Can in the top of freezer.  It is broken and made a mess. Please be sure to not put any strange stuff and drink can in upper freezer.

For who put this Coke and make the mess.   Please buy one coffee to Sxxx, she need to clean what the mess this morning.

Thanks for your attention and cooperation !

Bear : I never saw a Coke exploded in a refrig.  It is indeed a messy but also very interesting.  We know that the volume of solid H2O is larger than that of liquid.  And air pressure is decreasing while the temperature is lowing.  It looks like the some Coke was iced and the increase of volume broke the aluminum can and, in the same time, some Coke was still in liquid.  When the can broke, the remaining air was free to expand and splashed the mixture of iced and liquid coke and then the mixture got froze.

Andrew : Bear, so was this your experiment?  You should also take into account that when the temp decreases rapidly it may create a thermal shock that can weaken the joints of the aluminum can.  And metal becomes more brittle at cold temp…

Bear : Thanks for the good points.  As a matter of fact, I prefer beer than coke.  Though I am just an engineer, I am still abiding to academic ethic.   Let the credit goes to where it belongs.

Jay : At least it wasn’t a beer that exploded; then someone would be guilty of Alcohol Abuse. J
