I discovered people in Shanghai obtain high intelligent and curiosity. In my observation, I found it is remarkably showed in the restroom area. In my study in their public restroom, (sampled 100 people, 100%participate) 78% of them would leave their door wide open while "taking their own business". by doing this, they achieved better ventilation, and avoid unnecessary air cirulation in small isolated area. further more, they can make better surveillance in strangers who comes in and out the public restroom and accomplish lowering the crime rate. Last, but not least, I found they had also managed their own research while taking shit. by living the door wide open, they can observe how other people take "small business". In addition, collecting data for more detail experiment and be able to refine their own position to achieve better water flow later. I am sure there are more benefits to leave to door wide open while "taking business", I shall keep my study going. I am so proud how brilliant Chinese is in capable developing such culture.
