美式棒球場--表哥的話
前天貼出看棒球感...然後寫信給表哥報告我去看這場球賽
以下是表哥回我的內容
Speaking about fun, what a fantastic day you and J must have had catching an Orioles game at Camden Yard! It’s one of the most venerable basement stadiums in America, of course (the others being Fenway Park in Boston, Wrigley Field in Chicago, and the newly constructed Pac Bell in San Francisco for the Giants). It’s funny (but not at the time when it happened) that when you had called S last time when we were all at Shea Stadium in Flushing to tell her that you had forgotten your bag, the Mets were actually playing the Baltimore Orioles! How about that.... It would seem that we must all go to another game together in NY the next time you visit. It’d be great to go catch a Yankees game, but the tickets are scarce and even when they’re available, they’re extremely pricey. When we watched the Mets last time, each ticket was approximately $27 and we were in the mezzanine section, shaded from the sun. Comparable Yankees tickets are about in the $40 range. But it was so much fun, as I’m sure that it was for you and J. The regular baseball season will end later this month, so by the time you come up to NY for your next visit, it’ll probably be over. But never fret, because there’s always the 2007 season to look forward to!
