Types of Business Administration Coursework

The Business Administration Course is offered in a variety of forms. Online, in classroom settings or at educational institutions around the world. Courses are designed for students who want to learn more about management and running an organization. Some courses are offered online and are accredited , while others may not be and are offered in non-accredited form.

Course requirements will vary. Some business administration coursework is meant to be short-term in nature, such as two-week courses or one semester programs. Other courses may be long term and require a student to complete it in order to obtain their undergraduate degree . A good example of a long term course would be a MBA, which requires one to two years of focused study before one can graduate and take their career further in an MBA program.

When taking business administration coursework at educational institutions, students must meet certain requirements. Credits for coursework taken in high school must always be accredited and approved by the institution. Credit for college credits taken in a shorter amount of time must be accredited by the institution that the credits came from, as well. If the student did not earn their undergraduate degree from an accredited school, they must still meet these standards. Furthermore, credits for CLEP exams taken must also be accredited by the institution offering the CLEP exams.
