[技巧] 給友人的自由式函授(三) 換氣與複習

好的換氣事實上是建立在好的划手(stroke mechanics)、身體轉動(body rotation)與腳打水(flutter kick)的基礎上的。想要做好換氣的動作,應該先把前三者練好。前三者練好的換氣可以說是水到渠成。

「換氣」就是要和手腳與身體的動作配合,但是有幾電要特別注意:
一、不要抬頭,如果看到天空或是天花板(室內池的屋頂)就太多了,最標準的是只有一邊的蛙鏡出水(另一邊仍在水中)。
二、頭不要轉太過,若游泳前進的方向為 12 點(時鐘))方向,那麼換氣時大約是往 4、5 (或 7、8)方向看。
三、配合划手轉動肩膀來換氣。

Jack,

"Breath" is actually built on the foundation of good stroke mechanic and complementary flutter kicks. Stroke mechanic is far more important than kick. As long as your flutter kicks are complementary to the stroke, you can easily breathe swimming freestyle. So, let me incorporate "breath" into recap of swimming freestyle by following videos in sequence.

Personally, I think this is CRITICAL technique which helps you relax arm muscle before pull. More than 90% of elite swimmers adopt this technique, such like Michael Phelps, Ian Thrope, Sun Yang, Alexander Popov, Matt Biondi, ...etc.

Just like kicking a ball in front of your feet, but in order to perform good flutter kick you have to rotate your leg (medially) a little bit so that you can point your toes slightly inward.

Common mistakes and correction of freestyle

it's in Spanish, let me translate & explain a bit here:

1. 手臂前伸時超過身體中線。 over-reach
    => 手臂前伸時應伸向肩膀前面,而非想著要伸到頭前面。
2. 手太早入水。 early entry
    => 最佳入水點是在頭和手臂完全伸直之間。
3. 推水不夠(太短)。 insufficient pull
    => 推水要推到底。
4. 身體旋轉不夠。 short of rotation
    => 以肩膀帶動身體旋轉,如果做不好,試著以直臂出水,直臂入水的游法游一陣子便能抓到轉肩的要領。
5. 手臂前伸過長而致拍水。 over-extension
    => 最佳入水點是在頭和手臂完全伸直之間,並保持高肘(高過手掌)。
