Fraser River Discover Centre

Through the rotating exhibits, engaging programs and the aim

to stimulate passion, education and enlightenment about

the Fraser River.

The river basin is one of the most diverse watersheds

 in North America.

It contributes millions of dollars to the economy and is home

to 60% of the population of BC.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre celebrates the stories,

people, heritage and future of the magnificent Fraser River

 from the mountains. to the ocean, through programs,

hands-on activities and changing exhibits.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre is conveniently

located along the boardwalk at Westminster Quay,

two blocks from Columbia Street.

You can see the big, blue and white building from

the New Westminster Skytrain Station.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre is an interpretive

 centre connecting communities in discovery

and celebration of the past, present and future

 of the living, working Fraser River.
