Los Compaders Restaurant

The richest and authentic taste of mexican food offered to

 you with strict selection of fresh and first quality ingredients and

platters just before you taste and enjoy

 them in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

The decor is fairly basic, but seems to keep with the typical

pseudo-Mexican flavour I have seen at other similar

restaurants around town. It's clean with the local music

lingering in the background.

Los Compadres doesn't appear much to the outside.

It's pretty simply decorated. But their food is fantastic.

It's not the typical "fast food" place,

 and uses authentic Mexican foods rather than

what you'd see in a similar place like that.

They use fresh cilantro, which is a big plus.

  The tortilla soup is amazing and the tacos al pastor were exactly

   what I wanted. $9

Flavours are well balanced and tasty.

Doesn't make you feel gross like some Mexican restaurants.

The salsa/sauces they gave us were great.

Home made and very tastey.

We loved the green sauce,

spicey but with such incredible flavour.

I could not get enough of it.

 The service was truly incredible.

I believe the man who served us was the owner -

and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items.

We were nicely surprised at the end of our dinner when

he gave us each a large piece of Mexican candy.

Value: FANTASTIC! The prices here are significantly

lower than other unauthentic Mexican restaurants

in the lower mainland.
