The Original Vineyard
The drive through the rolling hills and gorgeous countryside of South Langley is a trip in itself. The excursion is well worth it and takes you to Bacchus Bistro and Domaine de Chaberton, the Fraser Valley’s first winery. Established in 1981, you can benefit from winery tours and tasting year round, the elegant tasting room and retail shop, accompanied by a lengthy meal at the bistro overlooking the picturesque 55-acre vineyard.
The Way of the French
Adorned with warm colours and inviting hues, the dining room welcomes you to experience your meal as the French do. The kitchen is open-style, the ambiance comfortable and soft music plays while you indulge in a romantic lunch or dinner. Ingredients are only of the freshest and finest and are found locally to complement the wholesome taste. Keep in mind, the winery is not able to serve drinks containing alcohol other than their own wine. If you have a party of 30-70 people, rest assured that the folks at Bacchus can accommodate you for private functions, with or without an exquisite winery tour. The intimate environment will make a lovely place for celebrations or special meetings.
Summer Destination
The infamous patio invites you through French doors to dine facing the vast estate. Soak up the sun in the summer or enjoy the view while it’s heated during the milder parts of the winter.

"Bronze went to the only non-Okanagan finalist,
the “often (and unfairly) overlooked” Bacchus Bistro at
Domaine de Chaberton in Langley,
where “generous portions of traditional French cuisine” and
“a killer lobster bisque” impressed the judges.
