Fancy name for a winery.

There's a picnic area in the front, a Bacchus Bistrot,

and a large wine tasting room.

This winery is really lovely.  It's got a beautiful shop and a

huge range of wines to try.

They don't charge for a tasting and they have a detailed

list of their wines and tasting notes handy.

I found their staff  to be very friendly and knowledgeable.

There's no fee for their tastings, but they do limit you to 3 types.

I tried out their dessert wine was great.

There's 2 'brands' to their wines, the Domaine brand,

and another lower priced line branded under Canoe Cove.

The cheaper wines were really good,

and their Canoe wines were on for $12 a bottle.  Fantastic!

The higher price point wines, which weren't really that much more at $15 - $22,

were also great, and everyone at my fundraiser loved their gamay noir,

which is a variety I quite enjoy as well.

I thought the Bacchus (white) was really excellent, too.

The tasting was quite rushed, which I didn't particularly enjoy.

I felt that this was a larger winery, so it was a lot busier.

This winery is such a wonderful place close by.

They also advertise many of their wines as part of the 100 mile diet.
